stuff to take list

I was in the dog house once more when it emerged that I had failed in my duty as catering officer for our last trip out. In my defence I remembered everything that was in the fridge at home, milk, meat cheese etc, but I neglected to pack any of the dry goods. So on the way to pick up the van from storage the wife popped into a garage shop for tea, sugar and cereals for the kids’ breakfasts, then I remembered that I had forgotten lemonade (vital for LHA to have with Pimms), and the stir fried vegetables that we had planned to have for tea, and mushrooms for our cadac breakfast, and eggs (the list goes on quite a bit.) Anyway, I think that I should make a check off list for next time, does anyone else use one of these or do they play off the cuff like I tried to?

for the record i think that this is the 4th time that I have forgotten to pack the tea bags in a year.

St-Spoon guess what ... We have a list that we tend to use each trip out but sadly always forget something. Normally I forget my wallet

My wife has a fairly detailed one on her tablet. You can download lots of list apps and she used one of these to make it up.
