I live in the middle of nowhere and our little tesco express has copies on their shelves. Trouble is I can't peak inside because they are in a plastic sealed bag with loads of free supplements??

Oh well let's hope this is the last time Haymarket **** it up.

For my part I shall continue with my subs as in the past I had difficulty getting a copy from the shops, mainly my fault because I kept forgetting and then it was too late. Also don't we save money overall by subscribing annually?

I agree with "Ken" that Nigel the editor has offered a tenable explanation. What else can he do now? Cut his arms off, ha ha.

Maybe Lord Hezza hasn't paid the post office for the deliveries.

Cheers

Alan

My Copy did'nt arrive either....maybe because I cancelled my subscription 6 months ago!

It was continually late arriving, the response from Haymarket was appauling and the renewal rates were nowhere near as competative as they should have been. They want your money up front, make promises and then literally the DON'T DELIVER. Now, I only buy the occasional copy if I'm looking for something in particular.

And, it is an issue (pun) far more important than what Boris Johnson is going to do to London.

(A bomb under the houses of Parliment would be my favoured solution to that problem)......Come back Guy Faulkes, all is forgiven! - and while you are at it put a banger (just a small one) up the Haymarket Management team.

Hi All

I share your thoughts and feelings about this magazine being late.

What's the point of subscribing? Why don't we simply pick one up from Tesco or Sainsbury's?

As for 'Ken-not-moderator-hang-on-a-minute-folks-and-lighten-up' I think you should think about WHY you have a subscriptions department. Also, that if we all un-subscribed (because of poor service), some of you might be out of a job.

I think Moderators should moderate. Lately there's been an influx of Moderators casting their opinions about what's going on. In my own, personal view, Moderators should observe and only comment when asked to.

I'd also recommend that Moderators think very carefully about their contribution when they make one because Ken's comment has made me think twice about renewing my subscription - especially when I could've picked up the mag. three days ago in Tesco.

As a subscriber for many years why don't I get any of these special introductory offers like the Autoglym one?

Surely loyalty counts???

Mr "Not Moderator",

As to the facts:-

1.It is not just one late copy, most people seem to have missed two, or three copies.

2. There seem to be a number of different answers given by Haymarket as to why we have not received our copies, paid for in advance I may add, conclusion we are being told lies, or the staff are incompetent. That does not necessarily mean the people we have been speaking to.I do not being treated like a B***y nuisance by a company I pay !!

3. I expect to receive goods and services I have paid for on time and in good order.

4 Please dont bring Party Polotics into this (Boris).
Would that explain why you don't like Boris? You're not THAT Ken are you? LOL

I'm glad you have got yours I Still haven't got mine. I aam about to ring the subscription department.

Just as a passing thought I notice in the correspondance that has passed a number of people say that e.g. they have not got editions of PC before. Does this constitute Fraud, or incompetence ?

Ours arrived this morning as well. Great! Only thing is, it doesn't contain the said DVD that was causing the hold-up!

Just sent a letter to PC subscriptions dept. Wonder what they will say ;-) and if I'll get my DVD.

Got mine today - the exclusive on the new Bailey just made me realise what a load of hype about a very average caravan can be!!

There was also a bit on the dreadful Kia Soore !! Are these 2 firms in bed with PC ? Makes you wonder doesn't it.

Good to see the Mondy get another good rating - long may it continue.

Incidently the towing video can be downloaded from the HA website.

Everyone,

Evidently, there have been serious delays with the posting and delivery of the June issue of Practical Caravan to subscribers.

We don't take any joy in seeing subs copies of the magazine going out late and all problems are taken very seriously.

If any of you want to contact me directly to make a formal complaint about this, you are very welcome to. Similarly, if you are missing your copy of your DVD or your entire magazine, drop me a line with your subs number and I'll look into it.

And as always, if you have any feedback, good or bad about the magazine, please get in touch with me directly.

We strive to make Practical Caravan the best magazine of its type on the market, and sometimes things do not go our way. This was one such occasion and all I can do is apologise to all of you who have been affected.

Best Regards

Nigel Donnelly
