We have a Nissan X Trail 4x4 Kerb weight 1650 (CHECKED)

We are looking to tow a Lunar solaris 1 single axle, would this be a good match?

We are looking for nearside fixed bed and low dresser.

jacqui ,as the lunar weighs in at 1450kg,s ladened i think you will be ok with a 200kg,s of weight difference but to be sure log onto whattowcar .com .jim

Jacqui, Assuming your X Trail can tow (check handbook) a caravan that weighs 1450kg (MTPLM of the Solaris 1)then it would be an 87% match. For first timers and people who are new to caravaning the recomended match is 85% of the cars kerbweight. As I said assuming your X Trail can tow a caravan of 1450KG then I reckon you would be fine. Honest, like all things, as long as you take your time and not try and do anything daft towing a caravan is fine. I would recommend you go on one of the courses run by either the Caravan or Caravan & Camping club. The confidence, knowledge and advice you gain at these courses are well worth the course fee. Alan
