Suitcase satellite kits.

I have just bought one of these from Maplins. It has a satellite finder include with a spirit level, south facing compas and a movable disc with various cities on it.I know it fits into the back of the dish but there are no instructions on how to use it.Can anyone help? Nigel

I have had one of these kits for a couple of years now and mine came with an electronic sat finder, I find this is a very easy way of setting up for the best signal.

I have helped a few friends with the same kit recently and the kit no longer comes with this sat finder.

It is not that easy setting up with the compass and box signal meter as is now suggested.

If you want the meter look for something like this
