summer cooking

Hi all, just wanted your recipe`s on cooking outside on a cadac tried kebebs and were very good want to try something new.cheers

Take some thin strips of chicken ( either sliced up some supremes or if you want to be lazy, Tesco do mini chicken strips in a pack)and fry them until just starting to brown, add sliced mushrooms, peppers and onions until softened. Throw the lot into a saucepan with a jar of Dolmio bolognaise sauce (other brands and flavours are available and acceptable) leave to simmer on the hob. You can add any vegetables you like to this such as green beans, courgettes etc or serve them separately on the side

Slice new potatoes about 10mm thick and fry them in some oil until golden brown

Make sure chicken is cooked through and serve

We have a 'real' BBQ, flames and everything! When we were at Longleat for half term a spatchcocked chicken went down well, and last weekend at our local site a shoulder of lamb was very tasty. Home made garlic bread always sets the neighbouring noses wagging!
