Summer 'vs' tyre pressure

I'm pretty keen on tyre pressure checks, but how do you go a about getting things right when the sun is warming the rubber up so much?
Any tips most welcome.

The car manufacturer's will have taken into account the effects of summer temperatures on the way the tyres will work. So unless the manufacturer stipulates changing the tyre pressure in response to higher temperatures there should be no change to the way you use the tyres. The same will apply to trailer tyres.

With regards towing, many car manufacturer's will advise increasing the cars pressures - so follow the advice the manufacturer gives.

At home I check the pressures when there is no sun on the car (early morning). Same goes for the van in storage as the sun doesn't hit the tyres before midday. After that the TPMS tells me the pressure.

I too check mine when the sun has moved away from the tyres. I always inflate to the recommended 33psi and reset TPMS. If the weather is warm it makes very little difference. I check them weekly on both cars so ambient seasonal effects tend to average out. I also do a check prior to a long journey. Old habits die hard I guess.
