Hello everyone we've just bought a suncamp ultima 260 porch. Have we made a good choice or will we have any problems with it?

Perhaps you ought to have asked your question of the knowledgeable before you bought your awning.

Do you really want to be told you have made a bad choice if that is the concensus of opinion among forum members?

Hi Will,

We have Sunncamp Ultima 260 and we love it, mainly because it is easy to put up and the space inside is enough for what we want.

Our only gripe is there are no peg down points in the skirt to stop it flapping in the breeze/wind. I hope to put this right on our next trip out, by inserting some plastic eyelets (hammer in type) to the skirt and peg down to see if this works?

We had the 260 then upgraded to the 360 and bought the inner bedroom.

We also bought tap in eyelets and fitted them for our second trip away with it and they worked perfect.

Ideal awning both light weight and easy to assemble.

Hi Will- we have a 390 Sunncamp Ultima and adore it. Very easy to put up and yes I agree about the skirt-just put eyelets on as we did andif you take the time to work out the corners and eyelet correctly you can peg the corners -all three pieces down with one peg. We love it so much we have got the inner for when the elder kids come and are getting the 260 for when there is just us three. Very spacious, very light, east. Good choice, Gary
 
Thanks for all your comments,I would have asked before I got the awning but we where "only looking" but liked it when we saw it. If forum member had said there were problems i would try to resolve them before our next trip.

My problem at the moment is because they have become so popular, I am having trouble finding a supplier of the inner tent. Any help in this region would be greatfully appreciated,

Unfortunately there aren't many inner tents about for this awning. The assistant at the caravan shop told me that they are in geat demand. Will
 
Would like to find a good used one the 260 to try to see how it fits the unit before buying new we have had a senic plus for years but like the looks of the ultima. any ideas where could find one? Sunncamp seems to understnad caravanning and makes good products, we've had several and really like the quality.
