Sunncamp contempo awning - concern if it will fit our bailey ...

I have been looking at the Sunncamp contempo awning which would be ideal for our bailey ranger 520/4 as it would fit between the front side window and the rear bedroom window. however the door would not be central to the awning and it has been suggested that as the door is opened it may scrape the roof, this depends on the roof angle from the awning rail to the first pole if it is steep then it may touch the door as it opens- if the first pole is about the same height [ 240cm high ]then it should be ok. does anyone have a contempo who could say if there is any noticeable difference in height from the rail to the first pole.

I have the Contempo awning on my Bailey Bretagne and we shift the awning along the rail so it misses all the windows. This means the door opens in the very back of the awning and there is plenty of headroom to allow for that, no problem. This sounds exactly what you also need to do so worry not.

Thanks Steve, so just to clarify - your door opens right by one side of the awning. As our door would only be about 4" from the edge. I have tried to find a place where we can actually see one in place , but to no avail at the moment. I like the size and as unfortunatly the wife is unable to assist much in erecting it I Need one that is large but easy to use.
