SunnCamp Scenic/Plus porch awning

I purchased a SunnCamp Scenic/Plus porch awning this summer and when dismantling for the first time discovered that the end of the top pole had dented the side of the caravan. The weather conditions were normal with a gentle breeze occasionally. Has anybody else experienced this problem with this particular make of awning? Would be glad to hear from you if you have. Fred.
 
Hello Fred, as yet we have not had any problem whatsoever with this. Did you have the pole attached properly to the small pocket that goes against the side of the van?. Perhaps in future after reading this I might put some padding where this might happen, as they say prevention is better than cure even though this should not have to be done.
