Swapping movers.

Our current twin axle has a 2005 Truma motor mover fitted. The caravan has an MTPLM of 1650kgs. If we go for a Elddis Crusader Cyclone weighing at a hefty 1950 kgs and swap the motor mover over, I wonder if the the motor mover would be able to cope with the extra weight.

The Crusader looks a very well built caravan for a British manufacturer and there seems to be hardly any warranty issue complaints about it on various forums compared to other British caravan manufacturers.

Easy answer contact the makers of your mover. It should be ok on the flat but less efective on an incline.

Hi Ian

As graham has said if you give truma a ring they will let you know. We have a Truma TE fitted to our van, Van is 1850 kg and the mover works fine with no problems.
