Swift Bathroom Tap spout popped off

Could be. Would be great if it was, however the consensus on FB is that they are just rubbish taps prone to leaking as well as popping the ends off.

Like every thing else, they could make goods that last years, but then there spare parts sales would fall. Like a chap I know who used to sell cars, he hated selling Toyota,s , reason being when they drove away he never seen them again. Those days they were made bomb proof.

A few months ago, I had a similar issue with my camper bathroom tap. The spout popped off as soon as I tried using the water, and I noticed some tiny metal filings too. It was super frustrating because no matter how hard I tried, it kept popping off under pressure. Turns out, the spout was just misaligned, and the seal inside was worn out. I had to carefully remove the spout and check the connection for any blockages or debris. I found that giving the pipe a little clean helped a lot. If that doesn’t do it, you might want to look into replacing the seal or checking places like pm247.co.uk for some help.

This is a common issue on Swift taps. They seem to have a contractual obligation to pop off. First of all dry the tap end and the popped off filter. Then look for the notch and the corresponding dovetail bit on the tap and filter and line them up. Press together really really really hard, don’t try and twist.
In the majority of cases this has done the job provided you are steady when turning the tap on.
This is well reported on Swift owners group on FB and worked for us
