I would just to like to tell you all about the problems i have had with our Swift Challenger 520 se 1999.We bought the caravan 5 years ago for £8995 and in that time i have had panel rot, rear floor rot which was fixed under warranty, water ingress in the front panel, which i rebuilt using screws instead of little staples. Offside window water ingress and now water ingress coming in at the top edge of the wallboards on both sides of the caravan in the end bathroom area. I will never buy another Swift caravan as the workmanship and build quailty is shoddy.
I know we may have been unlucky with this van and other members will have good stories to tell regarding there Swift vans but not for me i am afraid.
Now i have finished my tantrum can anyone tell me how easy it is to reseal the awning trims, what bedding sealant is the best etc. I can`t afford to change the van so repair is the only option.
