Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone knew what was required for a Swift Command firmware update or if it was possible to do yourself?

Sargent have told me that I need to get it done by a Dealer but I was wondering if it's possible to do ourselves.

Does anyone have any experience of this?

There is a box with a memory card in that plugs into the rear of the screen and then the PSU, the files on it are various for different screens/psu/ motorhomes/caravans

Ah. Interesting. I suspect only certified service centers can get hold of one of these boxes..
It would be cost prohibitive to buy one for one update, I would think a decent workshop mobile or fixed would do it during a service, it doesn’t take long.

From google search AI

To update Sargent PSU firmware, you'll need a specialized tool provided by Sargent or a service provider authorized by them. The process involves downloading the firmware update and using the tool to upload it to your Sargent control system.

I don’t have the system but out of interest goggled ‘Swift command firmware update’ and instructions were given down loading to a computer then saving to a USB stick. Maybe that would work for you?

The USB stick is only a carrier to put the memory card in, prior to the card going into the tool for update

Do you know if it's a regular USB memory stick/memory card adapter? If so maybe I can see if I can get the files from Sargent? If it's a special device though then it's probably a no go.

USB stick is purely to plug in to download the files, the update tool is what the memory card goes into, there is a ribbon cable from the update tool that pugs into the unit in the van.

I saw one when an update was being done
