swift group parts - slow and expensive?

Whilst in France this summer we damaged the front offside skirt on our 2005 Eccles Topaz, so we need a new skirt panel (below the draught skirt rail) on the front offside.

It has taken swift nearly 3 weeks to come back to our dealer (the vans still under their warranty) and apparently you can't just buy the panel, you need a full kit.

As a result, its going to costs almost £500 for something the dealer anticipated being below my excess.

anyone else had similar experiences?

Yep, we had the exact same problem with this part, we needed the front n/s skirt as the step flipped up and bent it. 3 weeks and a message on this forum later we were told that we needed to buy the kit (all 4 skirts)
