my update, swift rang me today and left a message on my ans phone and emailed to tell me that my modification had been done on my new onyx by the dealer and that saturday handover is still fine.

way to go swift.

ill keep you all informed about the handover.

I cannot believe people are actually praising a company like swift for there totally unprofessional operation,where is there research and development team when they are knocking these vans together,there is no excuse for a shoddy build,they took the cash,peoples hard earned cash and they still assembled a substandard product.

hi, where are avondale when people have cracks in there vans they dont read, reply and help. where are bailey when alot of people had the water problem they didnt read reply and help either.

i cant knock swift a fault has been found and they are fixing it unlike some manu's.

Hello, I read with interst on the practical caravan forum of a problem with the bathroom door leaking on the 540, also on the Vogue 495.

I have a 495 which is now 13 months old, however I havnt used the shower as yet.

Are you doing a recall on this layout as im now concerned that I have a potential problem.

One thing, what type of hitchlock do you use?

My Pageant had an AKS 3004 hitch as does the new Wyoming. For reasons no one can explain our Bulldog mini hitchlock would not fit the Wyoming! I had to enlarge two of the holes by 5mm to gain extra height allowing it to fit. Very strange. I took this up with Bulldog and our dealer and they were mystified.

Something else to add to your list perhaps?

I can confirm that your shower is not the same design as the shower that is in the new vans.

Your caravan shower should not leak.

Yes jo-anne very good news, and a prompt relpy as well. I will be checking it over the comming weeks to ensure that what Swift has said is correct, I would imagin there will be no problem.
