Swift Overhead Locker Door Issue

Hi

Has anyone experienced problems with the plastic friction piece, which holds the locker doors open on new Swift Charisma / Challenger Caravans? On my 2005 model van I have returned it to the dealer several times (for adjustment / repair) but still suffer with doors closing unexpectantly, usually on my childrens head or hands.

I am extremely pleased with my van apart from this issue, any suggestions anyone ?

Our 2005 Abbey is exactly the same, despite adjustment the only thing that keeps the locker open is a small stick or the large fish slice that I use on the BBQ to wedge the b@#++=s open!

Very annoying especially when youve had a glass of red too many and it comes down on your head / hand! If you find a fix please let me know!

By the way I'm sure you know that Abbey's are made by Swift.
