Swift Water Pump problem

The Water pump in my Swift Challenger 530se appears to be continually on making a humming sound even when all taps are turned off. I now have to turn the main pump switch on and off each time I want to draw water from any taps to avoid the continuous humming. It's hardly a major problem but tends to niggle me after doing it for the umpteenth time over the course of a weekend. (the water level in the aquaroll is always adequate)

You dont say if you have a pressure system or micro switches on the taps. if it is a presuure system probably just needs the presure switch adjusting, very easy to do. Instruction manusl should tell you where it is and how to adjust it.Very simple to do

Hi Jeff,

We too had the same problem in our 2008 ACE Jubilee Equerry. I have found the best way to avoid this over running/ humming is to fill the on board tank as well as the aqua roll. I reckon with an empty on board tank, the pump was able to draw air into the system and hence reduce the water pressure kicking off the pump. Since we have been filling the full system we have not had any problems.

Cheers

Andy
