swift windows cracking

Hi all
I have found small "spider" like cracks appearing on th inside of the front and side windows in my 2 yr old swift challenger, both the dealer and window maufaturer are telling me that windows only have a 1 yr guarantee, swift also have been useless and say to contact window manufaturers, any ideas on this as surely this renders a 2 yr old van with windows unfit for purpose?

This is a classic case for you to make a claim under the Sale of Goods Act (SoGA) These are your stautory rights, and cannot be modified or over ridden by the manufacturers.

In essence the fact that the window has started to fail which suggestsits not sufficently durable. or in SoGA terms not of merchantable quality, and not fit for purpose. Your claim is against the seller, not the manufacturer so don't be swayed by their apparent indiference.

I suggest you seek profesional legal advice about how to initiate and progress a SoGA action.
