SWISS FRANCS OR EUROS

Hi,
Anyone got recent experiance of Switzerland and if they will generally accept Euros in shops etc. If so do you get a good or poor exchange rate in general.
Would you take Swiss Francs or Euros
Wayne

Hello
I always use Swiss Francs as when the Swiss use their wonderful cash registers (which will give you change in any currency I have always found the rate to be quite high) you will find that on their menu's in resturants they have both Swiss francs and Euros and when you work it out they do add on abit for themselves.
This I might add will never deter me from going, its clean, healthy and always good for the money.

Love Interlaken, Grindelwald, Lauterbrennen and all around there.

Enjoy your trip

We too use Swiss Francs in Switzerland rather than Euros. I agree that it is a clean and beautiful country and we too love the Bernese Oberland around Interlaken but it IS VERY EXPENSIVE country for everything.
Tim
