We have recently bought a 1994 Swift Corniche with an on board water tank we have used the van sucessfully , however there is a switch for pump low down by the heater switch and also swith on the mains module.Question is should the swith on the module be in the on position always and the switch lower down by the heater switch be off and only switched on when i need to fill on board tank fronm Aqua Roll ?

Second question is, the switch on the module marked van when on site using elec hook up should this be in this van position and not car ? Also should the charger switch be in the on position all the time or only until the battery is fully charged and then should i switch the car/van switch to car?

hope someone can help gjgj

The answer to your first question is yes.

To answer your second question regarding the switches.

The switch should be in the caravan position when using electric hook up. There is no need to change this when it is fully charged. The caravan position should also be used when you are towing.

The central position is used when you are using your leisure battery only. (12v)

"Caravan" position is probably the only one you will need to use.

The "Car" position is only for emergency use. If your caravan battery is flat and you cannot charge it, then you can plug your 12s into the car, switch to "Car" position and use from the car battery. The engine should not be running. Take care not to flatten the car battery
