Taken the plunge at last

After many many years of considering buying a caravan dating back to 1995, we have finally taken the plunge.

We bought yesterday a 2007 Bailey Champagne from Chipping Sodbury Caravans. The caravan was a last minute cancelled order and is pretty much ready to go. We are having the hand over on Thursday and are very excited.

We have booked 3 weekends away this year, starting off close to home.

Hope you enjoy it Catherine. It's a great life except when it's pouring down, pitch gets waterlogged, blowing a gale, partner reads the map wrong, traffic snarl ups, awning wont go up straight, kids playing football around your caravan, treading in dogdumps because of irresponsible dog owners, Gestapo style wardens, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.

Hehheh! ;O)

Catherine,

I hope you have lots of fun with your new caravan. We took the hobby up 10years ago and have never looked back.....only wish we had done it earlier.

Hi Catherine and welcome.

Do not take any notice of the aritos on this site. If the head gardener has not mowed the lawn, if the chef has not got the roast crackling to the right point and the serving wenches are not ready with the first G&T then they will not drop their steadys.

Trust me you have made the right move. Just remember that there is no such thing as bad weather, just inapropreate clothing.

Keep us in the loop.
