Discussing taking pets abroad with a vet he mentioned possible problems with the animal not being used to the higher temperatures and humidity encountered. He made the point that it is easy enough to warm a cold animal but harder to cool a hot one. Perhaps your vet could advise.

Can I suggest you check with each site - because some sites won't accept Rottweillers? I know it's a bit harsh, when she's a family pet - but worth checking first to avoid any upset on arrival at the site. I think, like in England, there are categories of dogs considered to be unsafe - and lots of sites specify that they won't accept Rottweillers or Pitbulls.

I agree with Valarie...We had a German Sheppard many years ago, who was good tempered and she adored kids (but she could'nt eat a whole one..lol)

Some sites would not accept these or other breeds that hit the headlines for being vicious...always best to chheck with the site first.
