Hi Folks,

Returned from our two week holiday to West Wales, (first week Anglesey North Wales, second week Tenby, West Wales) on Saturday, just as we were about to hitch up out popped this little fox from under our Freelander, that was it her who must be obeyed ran back into the caravan and raided the fridge for the remains of the ham we had had for sandwiches. On all the sites we have visited this is a first.

Has anybody had the same experience as us.

Regards

Graham (Ponty)

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the info. We stayed at Well Park Caravans, near Tenby (1 mile) and Saundersfoot (1.5 miles) it's a lovley site clean and well looked after, I would have no hesitation in recommending this site to anyone.

It's only about a 2 hour drive from where we live so we tend to go there quite often for long weekends when we get them off from work.

I'm going to try and upload these pictures again now here goes.

Regards

I don't wish to be a sour puss but --- please do not encourage foxes to a site or garden if you have pets, especially dogs. Unfortunately, the fox carries mange, a nasty disease which can be transferred domestic animals.

Hi Ann, I understand what you are saying, but most of the sites we visit are mainly in the countryside or near the seaside, in a sence we are intruding on there territory wether it be near the seaside or in the country it's there home, you could say the same about rabbits as they carry fleas, the site we stayed on in Anglesey, Ty-Hen, was over run with rabbits, we would drive onto the site at night a see hundreds of them running all over the place.

I think if you are worried your dogs may catch the mange then you had better not take them with you, at the end of the day you are in the countryside perhaps we had better put up 20ft high walls around campsites to stop these country animals coming anywhere near our dogs, I don't think so.
