Tear in the roof of my awning

I have a small nylon awning for my caravan and recently went to erect it and notice a tear in the roof . It’s about 2 inches by 2 inches .
Looking for the best DIY repair method , I would appreciate any advice on how to repair it .
Thanks

Visit a camping shop and look for a tent repair kit. Trhey come with material patches of various sorts, and suitable adhesives to effect a waterproof repair.
Not a difficult job at all.

Try "Clear Gorrilla tape" fantastic waterproof tape, I carry a roll in the van in case we get a crack in a window or body panel. Flexible enough for what you require on the awning. Clean the area with Meths , dry and apply.

It was recommended to us a while back and it is brilliant!

I would recommend either gorilla tape or T rex tape, have used on awnings, small cracks on windows and also on plastic panels behind front window rails to stop cracks getting any worse with very good results.

Gorilla or T Rex can be applied to wet surfaces. Which traditional repair tapes cannot. Things. clearly have moved in since I last repaired a tent.
