Got on here at last after de-coding what some "do Good'r" has done to my log in!!

Evere since I started on the old forum decades ago when you had to wind up your massive 2Gb computer, I have been known as steveinleo. All typed in lower case.

Now for what ever technical reason I have become steve in Leo.

Why.

So as the old addage goes "why fix it if, it ain't broke"

So would the techie who decided I needed to change what is my "handle" or nick name, please change it back.
BTW. The noreply@haymarket thingy didn't help as it asked me for my PC login name which was the thing I didn't know at the time cos you lot had changed it.

I just looked back at the old site (witchcraft) and as far as I can tell your nickname was 'steve in Leo', which is why it was carried over to here thus. If you don't like that, however, you can go and change it by clicking on 'My Account' while you're logged in and click on 'Edit' - you can change your user name there.

Hi JD & LB

While I was waiting I had another fiddle and with the help of "her in doors" who is a pc techie, we cracked it. Also put a picky up of my nick name by the lads at work, cos I get them home from site pronto.

As far as I can recall I haven't been anything other than steveinleo, so no harm done and I'll put it down to teething troubles.

BTW, should the button next to preview say send not save?

Agreed on the 'save' button, steveinleo – it's on the list somewhere, and I think it'll end up saying 'Post' not 'Save' at some point.
