Tensioning Window Blinds

If they are Remis blinds there should be 2 adjusters on the top left end.
Use a screwdriver to push the adjuster inwards to release the lock and turn clockwise to tighten and the still with driver in the slot bring the adjuster back out to lock in place.
If you just take the driver out, the blind wil lose all its tension and you have to start again,,,,,,,,,,,but you soon learn !!!

Thanks for the information yes they are the Remis blinds, can I ask a daft question is it the plastic bit that turns as I can only turn it a 1/4 of a turn then it stops, or is this what needs pushing in or is there a screw inside the plastic slot?

Thanks for being patient.

Yes , you push the round plastic bit withthe slot in it, inwards to release the lock, but keep the tension on the driver, then with it still pushed in, turn the driver clockwise to tension, then slowly let the plastic bit come out into its locked position

Will take another look and have a go, thanks for the information. I will let you know how I get on, may not get to it till next weekend as I'm at work this weekend.
