We have gone from Camping to Caravan and would not look back. Of course it is far more expensive but there are some good bargains out there. You will find a lot of useful help if you are looking for a caravan on this site. If you on a low budget and looking for an older van the biggest problem is damp, but you will see that if you read through some of the threads. I think my experience has taught me that even some newer vans can suffer the same so you do need to be careful when looking. Good luck.
