Had my Tesco points coupons through today. Included in the bumf was various other points offers and money discounts. One included discount membership fees of up to £79 for RAC cover. I am a member of the RAC through the C&CC with caravan relay. The coupon from Tesco states the offer is for new membership only and not for existing RAC members. Why differentiate between existing and new members - we shopped at Tesco so the offer should be for all their customers.
 
Presumably because the RAC want to increase their membership.

They're not going to bait their hook after they've landed their fish are they?
