Tesco Vouchers

I know this topic has been aired previously but could someone please explain exactly how the system works when using them for Eurotunnel?

It is very easy to use the vouchers we have used them on 3 trips now. Look at the Eurotunnel website to get an idea of the crossing times and costs that you want. Then order the required number of tokens from Tesco - also online. meanwhile we phone Eurotunnel to make a provisional booking telling them you will be using the Tesco tokens. Once you have these they are sent to Eurotunnel and the booking is confirmed. if you do not have sufficient tokens, any difference can be paid using a crdit/debit card.

Be aware that an invoice is not always sent so do keep a record of the reference number given to you by Eurotunnel as you need this to book in automatically on arrival at the terminal. At quiet times you may be offered an alternative crossing for no additional cost.
