VW renewal from AA .£130 k more than last year.
Equal fully comp cover with all the whistles and bells with AXA direct £361.
And a lower A/D XS.
Pays to shop around but beware the smoke screens and policies with all,the extras removed
 
After years with LV I finally moved as the renewal for both cars was quite silly and even phoning them did not obtain any reduction. We are now with Saga for my wife and AXA for me. Today my daughter has just renewed her MG 3 hybrid where the initial quote for three years was just £10 per year extra to the existing premium. So she rang the insurance and has accepted a reduction so she only pays £3pa extra over the next three years.
 
My wife did when hers were due and shopped aound on a VW Up and manage get a good deal with Dial Direct fully comp cover NCD £225
