Hi everyone help needed , have booked a week at Forfar first week in june . Big question is that area bothered with midges as the other half wont go near them after a previous meeting with them which ruined her holiday .thanks swiftman.

lived up there for over 22 years

only time i have been bothered with the wee beasties was on the west side of the A9

only thing you will have to look out for is on the beach

Will be sand flies that bite and hawes flies when it gets warmer

tell her to spray some skin so soft on i used to use it

she will get it from Avon Lady

but should have much bother with the beastie on the east coast unless its been pouring it down for a while before you go

2nd the skinsosoft recommendation: best stuff for anti-midge or mozzies. The sandflies don't like it much either.

Clothing can make a difference; apparently yellow is not a good colour, sewage workers always wear orange not yellow hi-vis so I'm told!
