The Plassey. Wrexham.

Have never been to wrexham before.anyone of the site members been to this site. Can u tell me anything abt it. Does it take dogs etc. Is there anything in the surrounding area to visit. Its not far from Rhyl etc. and we store our caravan in that area so its not to far from the storage.for us either.
 
Hi Erica - we haven't been there for a few years but were there in 2007. It is a beautiful site and very clean. As you enter there are a few shops and places of interest as it is set on the site of an old large house with outbuildings. There is also an indoor swimming pool. It also includes fishing lakes, golf course and garden centre. Not sure about dogs as we did not have ours at the time. The owner came to have a chat with us the evening before we left enquiring if we enjoyed our stay and to wish us a safe journey home. In over 40 years of caravanning this was the first time we have experienced this. Our other experience of this was at Lucksall in Hereford. It makes a personal touch where the owner actually takes an interest in his customers.

If we should venture to North Wales again we will certainly consider The Plassey as a site to visit based on our previous holiday there.
 
We stayed there in February and wasn't disappointed.
We had a luxury pitch, worth the extra money and they overlook the golf coarse.
The shower blocks a kept clean.
The site is outside Wrexham about 20 mins.
Would go back
 
The site sounds nice. Been on their web page and it does indeed sound lovely. Will defiantly be one to keep in mind for our hols in March. Thanks for your replies. Erica.
