The Star caravan and camping park near Alton Towers

Hi there has anyone stayed at this site we are due to go to Alton Towers in September and we are going to make a weekend of it, if so how far is it away from the park. comments please.
 
Have'nt stayed at this one. When we go to Alton Towers we stay at the c.c site in Leek. It's about a 20 min drive from site.
 
Use to camp there when we went to Alton Towers back in the early 1990's and its about 5 mins drive away. Use to be a good pub across road from site, well it was good back then.
 
hi harry here from edinburgh . we stayed there at star site 2 weeks ago thought it was good only 5 mins from alton towers only bad thing is the road from cheadle to the site is a bit narrow so care needed
 
We've stayed there. Not a bad site at all, very close to Alton Towers. The pub across the road did look inviting but the staff were so rude we walked out. This was a while back so it might have changed hands since then!
