Hi, just had no electric flush on last outing. When we returned home ,had a look & found pump....022406...not to be working.
Went to local caravan spares shop & bought pump with same number but the wire lead was half the length. We asked
assistant why this was & told "Don't know & have never had any returned !! " The booklet / instructions inside was not visable to
read. Now at home the pump is for a different model....Anyone out there fitted this one to mine.Dont fancy fitting as with shorter cable will be not into the bottom of the tank. Help as cant go with no flush next time out ....Terry

Inside the packet with the new pump should be a length of heatshrink (black in colour) and a pump holder(white plastic), and the ends of the wires to the pump should have a crimp connection attached to each wire.

When you remove the old pump, cut the wire close to the pump, strip back about 1" of outer insulation being very careful NOT to cut into the wire insulation, strip the wires back about 1/2".
Feed the wire up through the holder, slide the heatshrink over one cable and slide it out of the way until you have crimped each wire to its respective colour (brown to brown, blue to blue), then silde the heatshrink up to cover the join and the cable an equal amount each side, shrink into place with a hairdryer , or VERY carefully with a heat gun.relocate the pump and holder, put everyhting back together.

Presumably you HAVE checked the fuse already?

YEP, checked fuse first, thought had a dodgy flush switch as had black scortch marks around both terminals,
looked like arcing across ,replaced this .also in cassette compartment junction strip all rusty, also replaced.
Only thing unsure about is "waterproofing % of heatshrink sleeving" just bought more 3 amp fuses, so ready to try again
when get out of storage..Terry
