Can anyone help? After draining toilet system and storing caravan until filling at next time of use, the toilet wont work until about 2hours after filling then work coorectly until drained again is this a common problem or am i doing something wrong?(i pump the toilet system untill tank is emptied & drain what's left via drain plug) It's got me stumped.....

I know it's obvious but do you switch the vans 12 volts straight on after setting up? I have tried to flush mine on occasion whilst travelling somewhere, and forgotten to switch it on!!!

Can you hear the motor running when you operate the flush Button?

yes 12volt is switched on/no sound from pump.leave it filled and after about 2hrs or so it will start to work.
