thetford cassette float

Hi All.
Been away in the caravan last weekend and when I emptied the toilet cassette, thetford C200 I heard something rattling around in it, and it was what I assumed, the float had detached, I had a good feel around inside (after a good rinse out ) but couldn't feel where it located. Has anyone had this problem and re-fitted it successfully. The float has 2 pins which I assume it swings on. I have only just recently fitted a new reed switch so would like it to work properly, more than likely will end up using tried and trusted method, my eye's.

Martyn.

Look here: http://www.thetford-europe.com/download-product/c200/
Go to sanitation repairs and go through the booklet to find the procedure to replace the float

video is a complete waste of time really, apart from showing where it should be located. Instruction that come with a new one are completely useless too. I notice a mounting bracket that looks like it pushes onto something instead of trying to locate 2 pins sight unseen, maybe they improved the later ones. I know it's 20 years old but comes up in the search so someone may find this reply useful when searching
