Thetford Cassette Toilets

Hi,

My next door neighbour has just given me a Thetford Cassette toilet with electronnic flush that he never got fitting into his campervan.

The cassette loads from the right (looking from above) and if I were to fit it to my ABI ace Globetrotter I would require it to be loaded from the left.

Is there a way of converting the cassette as it looks like the neck and vaccumme button(??) can be changed from side to side, but I thought it best to ask before I attempt taking it to bits.

Also, I know my Caravan is a bit older than some (1986) but has anyone fitted a cassette toilet to one of these 'vans?

I would suggest that you post the model number of the cassette loo as there are many variants.

A long time ago I did fit one to a 1986 Swift Corniche.

I'm afraid that these toilets are supplied as either right or left hand fitting units, so it appears that you will not be able to use it.
