Thetford filler

I have a 2001 avondale dart that I have just bought and I am confused on where to fill the water tank. Above the cassete door there is a small door that looks like it should be the filler, but inside this there is solid pipe, advice on this please.

The small drop down "door" is the fill point for the toilet flush water.

It should have a solid white pipe directing the water inwards to the tank.

I believe some Avondales had no pink header tank and pulled the flush water from the on board water tank.

This method you couldnt add any pink to the water.

Hi Richard, I did have an Avondale Dart 510, and the toilet cassette filler was just below the toilet window. I used to connect up the water system, then unscrew the shower head off the shower hose. Open the toilet window, and point the shower hose end into the cassette filler and turn on the shower tap until the cassette flush was full. Turnoff shower tap, bring hose back in and reconnect shower head, and replace in shower holder, Close toilet window and job done. Refill cold water barrel if necessary
