Thetford Fridges

Hi, Yes we have had loads of trouble with a Thetford Fridge..Fitted in a 2003 Bailey Pageant Champagne.The fridge works fine but the shelves wont hold in their slots. We have had a new set of shelves but they are no better. We are taking the van for sevice next week and will see what the dealer can do.The dealer is Reads of Blackburn-No problem there they are first class-Just annoyingto arrive on site with all your stuff piled up on the fridge floor. Currently they are held in with white insulating tape.

Had problem with a warped door and also door tray slot broke off. No problem with Thetford, they replaced the door and knew about the door tray and had redesigned it. New one fits OK
 
I had a problem with the "flimsy" door tray on my 2003 Bailey Pageant Loire after only a few months. It was replaced and the new one seems to be more solid. My dealer informed me that this has been a common fault. I can only presume that the replacements are made of slightly stronger plastic.
 
I also had a problem with the bottle holder on the door breaking at one side. was replaced without question by dealer (Knowepark - Livingston)
