Hi All. My fridge, which was working fine on mains voltage has now stopped getting cold. All appears well, the blue power light is on, the LCD is showing no faults and there is heat coming from the outside vent but even turned up to max there is no cooling. The door is shutting ok. Please can anyone help?

Have not been able to try on gas as (sods law) gas ran out the same day. Will try that next weekend. Thanks.
It had been fine for a few days but then we noticed it seemed to be warm. Had no access to frozen veg I am afraid (if only).

Is you caravan pitched level? Some fridges wont work uless they are virtually on the level.
Other things that can upset them, if the caravan has been towed over rough ground , they sometimes need an hour or two to settle themselves out berfore being turned on.
If neither the above applies, then trying it on gas may show whether the refrigerant circuit is faulty.

Van has been on site and level for a week and fridge appeared to be ok. Will try on gas next weekend and see what happens. Thanks.
I have just read an article which had a link from this Forum some time ago, which relates to the same sort of problem. Apparently this type of fridge had an electronic board problem which was replaced under warranty. This was on 2007/8 models and mine is a 2007 van. I think a call to Thetford may be a good idea!!
