Thetford toilet. Converting to electric flush.

I converted mine two years ago and it works perfectly. The parts needed are :-

Miniature push button.

12volt miniature relay.

12v indicator lamp.

Fiamma water pump.

Sufficient twin 5amp cable. Round not flat.

A friendly electrician if you arent!

The bellows unit can be easily removed and this is used to mount the electrics. a hole is drilled in the floor of the toilet in the corner, a small electric drill can be used. A further hole is drilled in the floor of the external housing for the supply cable. Studying the circuit in your handbook will indicate where to take the supply from. Sillicone sealer is used to seal the cable entry into the toilet. I did not have any leaks at all. If you have any queries, pop them in the forum and I will help.

I would be interested in more information regarding this adaption, Ken. My wife's disability prevents her from turning the manual flush sometimes that I have to do it for her.

Can you email me more information with photos if possible to administrator@carryoncamping.org

Thanks
