The toilet flush is fed by the pump which feeds all other taps. Unfortunately when other taps are used the toilet also runs, despite being in the off (high) position. I'm presuming a washer needs to be replaced or a spring and can't see how to get to it. Any advice gratefully received

The toilet flush is activated by solenoid valve, which from your description has failed in the open position, or the switch has failed.
The solenoid is usually accessed through the cassette compartment , it should be located on one side of the enclosure.

Without seeing the switch it is impossible to advise on how to get to it, a photo would be helpful.

First picture is of what I think is an isolating switch to stop the circuit when cassette removed, second picture is the inlet tube viewed from underneath then there are the part nos etc. Then the push down flush inside, which works ok. There is only a leakage when using other taps ie basin and sink. It is a leakage not a full on flush which then empties the tube down to the toilet flush level through gravity.20210510_120533.jpg20210510_120511.jpg20210510_120644.jpg20210510_120708.jpg20210510_115638.jpg

THIS , look at "further information", Repairing C3 electrical valve" gives the info for the generically similar C3 solenoid valve.

It is not an item I would expect to fail open, so I think it could be some debris holding it open or the seating spring shot; both things that I would try hard to fix DIY rather than just change out the whole valve unit for a new one.

Before going in, remove its fuse and try then to see if using a tap elsewhere causes a flush or not; doing that test without it possibly getting electric power will resolve if it is a valve issue or had been caused by something electrical.
