Hi.

I need a bit of help regarding my Thetford Toilet. When emptying it I am very careful to ensure the cap is put somewhere safe, but when i tip it up to empty the cap that goes over the seals slides off and has to be held in position or it will end up down the tank. Is this the norm or am i doing something wrong. I dont remember having this problem before. The toilet is the model that has just been replaced with the latest model.

Hi

If yours is like mine I leave the rotating shutter in the closed position then remove the sliding plate and put it safe, at the waste point all you have to do is open the drain spout and with the vacuum release button pressed empty it.then when you return the "honey pot" to the van you replace the slide plate
