.........stopped in this service area on the A20 motorway in France near Limoges.
There are 12 bays each with a rubbish bin and picnic table dedicated to caravans/motorhomes ......toilets adjacent.
OK it was raining and empty at the time, but really great facilities.

Only issue is in the crazy season you'll find most spaces filled by cars or bikes! Really p****s me off when this happens and mostly it's just being lazy or preferring the shade/picnic table.

I suppose lorry drivers are equally upset when spaces occupied by a caravan and they need to dstop to comply with the law.

That's a nice find GafferBill, all designed for the French Lunch time stops.

When in France we would tend to stop for lunch around 1130-1145 to beat the frenzied French rush that started at 1200. Never had problems finding stopping places in Aires/Services using that routine.

.....this particular motorway service area had 20 smaller sized parking spots with picnic tables for single cars/vans.
Some can be seen on the left of the picture.
