We love this site as it's set in lovely quiet countryside and only 40 minutes from home. You pitch in the orchard amongst the apple trees and electric hook ups seen to be more towards the centre of the site. Owners are very relaxed - "pitch where you want, leave when you want". The toilets are basic, but we don't mind this as other things at the site outweigh the basic shower block. Hot water is heated by solar panels.
The best thing about this site for us is the abundance of walks without having to get in your car. It is heaven for dogs as the owners have kindly mowed paths around their fields and made nature walks, you can also walk around the lakes.
Great dawn chorus, lovely sunrise and sunsets. If you appreciate peace & quiet and nature you will love it, if your looking for a site with "bells & whistles" you wont!
