thursday,s child

Dave how thoughtful of you to ask.It has been 4 months since my operation ans I am still limping when not using my stick. The pain has gone and I have lost nearly 2 stone due to being more mobile!! The hospital experience was not pleasant and I had to have 2 units of blood couriered down from Sheffield to Boston, but my wonderful sister had me moved onto the private wing after 2 days.At her and her husbands expense. GOS BLESS THEMxxxx Happily we have been able to get away with Hetty Heritage and were helped by some marvelous people on the CL.I can stand up straight now and I walk the "BEARS" about on my own.The post op exercises are a "must do".

I have spoken to lots of people who have had the same procedure and everyone has a different story to tell.My biggest mistakes were leaving it so long before having the op and not losing enough weight prior to it.

Thank you again for your thoughtful query.
