Does anyone know how to adjust front side blinds on Coachman Pastiche 520 (2000 model. Side ones look as though enclosed in cassette. Screw caps visible. Does that reove inner plastic cover to reveal workings. Any help would be great.

Hi

Are they the type that the blind pulls up and flyscreen down or do they both come down from top??? If the are the Seitz that pull down from the top they are pretty easy to adjust if they are the type that pull from bottom and top they are more complicated to adjust

Have you any idea how to do this Ian or anyone else.

Looks like a full plastic cover inside that needs removing. Can saee the covers for the screws. Will springs or anything jumpout or are they enclosed in the cassette. I may give it a try at weekend.

Hi David, if you try this your self let me know how you got on. Mine was the same but i found that leaving the blind open saves the springs from getting week, we use the curtains in winter when the vans not in use and only colse the blinds when we are touring at night. The problem we had was the blind closed very easy but after a week or so we tried to open the blinds only to find they snaged and would not roll back into the open position it did make thinks a little better if we cliped the fly screen onto the blind then opend the blind, it seemed to make it a little tigher and stoped it from opening off center. We see a lot of vans with blinds closed hope all blinds arn't the same. the van our blinds are in is the fleetwood heratage 640 cb 2003. wonder how many more vans use these type of blinds. Good luck and a Happy New Year to you and all. :)
