Tockfield Cusions

No matter how we made up the bed in our Series 5 Pageant it was always uncomfortable. We read about Tockfield in the Caravan Club mag and read some positive reviews on this site, so we took the plunge and cut the covers off our cushions (that was the worst bit)and sent them to Tockfield. We asked them to take out the 'knee rolls' whilst they were doing them.

We sent them by courier on a Tuesday, At lunchtime the following day they phoned and said the covers were ready and apologised they had missed the courier that day. We then got them on the Friday at 10 am.

They have made all the difference - the beds are much easier to make up without the knee rolls and since then we have done two weeks of touring with a good nights sleep each time. We would recommend them

Did you just send the covers?

My covers just unzip and as my caravan is stored in France, this would be ideal.

How many cushions did you have done and at what cost?

I have three cushions (6' 6", 4' and 4') which are just used for seating and not as part the bed, and these are too soft, probably need a denser foam.

If yours already have a zip it should be very easy - just send the covers. Tockfield fitted new backs and zips on ours. We used their 600 medium foam and it seems just right for both seating and as beds, perhaps if we were just concerned about using them as seats it may be better to go for the firmer foam

They do guarantee that if you are not happy they will refill FOC.

We did 2 large cushions, 2 small cushions and the backrests and they cost
