Had my 2 grandchildren to stay this weekend. The youngest one is 20 months. Tell me, how is it that small children can assume the rigidity of a scaffolding plank when you are trying to strap them into a car seat; yet go as floppy as cooked spaghetti when you are trying to get their feet into wellies?

oh how I remember those days! A quick poke in the tummy (not hard) usually makes them 'fold up' for the buggy, and show them a biscuit and they'll do anything!! Good luck...

A friends daughter has been trialling a USA brand new buggy come car seat setup with their baby before it comes to the UK market. In the car the car seats clip on to a secure base and the seat fits to the buggy wheels the same way. Far far easier than any other design we've seen. Little one can be swivelled on the buggy base to face you or for ease when getting them in and out. In the car you load the child seat with the child in facing you or swivel the seat facing you to get the child in or out and the swivel it back to the travel position.

LOL! I've got a 2 year old little girl and this is exactly what she does!
