toilet doors

quite new to caravans so can anyone tell me why caravan toilet doors do not have locks on them?

Mine does, you pull the plunger(Inside of door) fully out and this stops it being opened.

Yeah ive noticed if I pull mine out fully the door wont open!!

None of the toilets in our house has locks either. We didn't have them incase the kids locked themselves in and never thought about it 'till now.
